INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE YEAR 2016 RECURRENT/CAPITAL PROJECTS

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hereby invites interested and reputable companies with relevant experience to tender for the under listed projects in the year 2016 Recurrent/Capital Budget.

Interested Contractors are requested to collect the tender documents from the Office of the Head of Procurement Division. West Wing, 4th Floor, Room NoW 418 of the Ministry after the payment of the tender fee of N10,000.00 only to First Bank Nigeria Plc, A/C No. 2016177413 in favour of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.

QUALIFICATION
All submissions must be accompanied with the following documents:
i. Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
ii. Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2013 – 2015)
iii. Evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act, 2011
iv. Evidence of compliance with the Pension Act
v. Evidence of registration with BPP National Database for Contractors
vi. Company Profile with evidence of experience of similar job and successfully completed with certificate attached/equipment etc
vii. Evidence of registration with relevant professional bodies, where applicable as well as evidence of technical qualification of key personnel
viii. Evidence of payment of the non-refundable tender fee of N20,000.00
ix. Evidence of Bank Reference/Financial capacity
x. Evidence of registration with Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON) is for Lot 1C only
xi. Audited Account for the last three years (2012 – 2014)

SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested bidders are to submit their tender documents (technical and financial) in two (2) separate sealed envelopes clearly marked “Tender for Y2016 Technical Bid and Financial Bid”. Both envelopes should be enclosed in a third larger envelope marked with the appropriate project title and Lot number at the top right corner of the envelope. All tender documents are to be address and delivered to the office of the Head of Procurement Division, West Wing, 4th floor, Room No W418, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Business District, Abuja. Submission of tenders closes by 12noon on Monday 22nd August, 2016.

BID OPENING
Opening of bids will take place at 12noon on the closing of submission (i.e Monday 22nd August, 2016) at the Permanent Secretary’s Conference Room, 7th Floor Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Business District, Abuja.

PLEASE NOTE
a. That late submission of bids will be rejected
b. All CAC, VAT, PENCOM, ITF and Tax Clearance Certificate submitted may be referred to Security Agencies, Corporate Affairs Commission, Federal Inland Revenue (FIRS), Industrial Training Funds, National Pension Commission and other relevant bodies for verification
c. That this advertisement shall not be construed to be a commitment on the part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor shall it entitle any person to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the Ministry by virtue of such tender having responded to advertisement.
