INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE EXECUTION OF 2016 CAPITAL PROJECTS (20th June, 2016)
1.0 INTRODUCTION
In compliance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act (2007) of the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Nigeria Customs Service hereby invites competent Contractors and Suppliers to tender for the under listed projects.
2.0 DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE
(a) Purchase of Motor/Operational Vehicles
(b) Purchase of Office Furniture and Fittings
(c) Construction/Provision of Office Buildings
(d) Construction/Provision of Residential Buildings
(e) Rehabilitation/Repairs of Office Buildings
(f) Rehabilitation/Repairs of Residential Buildings
(g) Construction/Provision of Electricity
(h) Construction/Provision of Water Supply
(i) Supply office stationery/Computer Consumables
(j) Field and Camping Materials
(k) Supply of uniform/other clothing and Accoutrement
(l) Supply/Purchase of Boats/Vessels
(m) Cleaning and Facility Management
(n) Consultancy Services
(o) PPP Office/Barracks Accommodation
(p) Provision of Operation and Management of ICT and Telecommunications, Hardware, Software, Power Supply Equipment, Training and Associated Services
(q) Insurance
(r) Maintenance and Provision of Scanners
(s) Medical Supplies
3.0 ELIGIBILITY
(i) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) by inclusion of Certificate of Incorporation
(ii) Evidence of compliance with Federal Inland Revenue Service by inclusion of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2015, 2014 and 2015)
(iii) Evidence of compliance with the National Pension Commission (PENCOM) Act 2014 by inclusion of compliance Certificate
(iv) Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund Act 2011 by inclusion of Compliance Certificate
(v) Evidence of registration with Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) on the National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers
(vi) Evidence of financial capability supported with Bank reference and commitment from a reputable bank;
(vii) Detailed Company profile with curriculum vitae of key officers/Professional Personnel including photocopies of relevant Professional Qualification
(viii) Verifiable evidence (copies of letter of awards and completion certificates) of successful completion of similar jobs in the last five (5) years
(ix) Suppliers of Equipment/Motor Vehicles must either be the Manufacturers or accredited representative of the equipment manufacturer. Suppliers are to submit certificate of attestation.
4.0 SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Pre-qualification documents must be appropriately prepaid in hard copy and sent in a sealed envelope marked “PREQUALIFICATION FOR TENDER” and must be delivered to CGC Conference Room, Left Wing, 2nd Floor, Nigeria Customs Service Headquarters, No. 3 Adidjan Street, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja.
The document shall be deposited in tamper proof box which shall be supplied for this purpose.
5.0 SUBMISSION OF DEADLINE
All submission must be made on or before 4.00pm Monday, 1st August, 2016.
6.0 OPENING OF PRE-QUALIFICATION
Applications received shall be opened publicly on Tuesday, 2nd August, 2016 at the CGC’s Conference Room, Nigeria Customs Service headquarters, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja.
